Adventures in Motion Pictures helped celebrate Princess Margaret's 70th birthday at Sadler's Wells in October 2000.  Birthday Offering, a celebration of dance directed by Wayne Sleep, raised   30,000 for the Dance Teacher's Benevolent Fund and the Wayne Sleep Scholarship Fund in hounour of HRH Princess Margaret.

AMP dancers Scott Ambler, Ben Hartley, Will Kemp, Neil Penlington, Arthur Pita and Ewan Wardrop performed Spitfire, AMP's notorious 'underwear ballet' alongside stars from the dance world including, Irek Mukhamedov and Sylvie Guillem.

This is not the first time that Spitfire has been performed for Royalty.  The late Princess Diana became an AMP convert after seeing Spitfire performed as part of the 1991 Dance for Life Gala at Her Majesty's Theatre.

Spitfire had a double outing this year as featured entertainment at the prestigious Arts and Business Awards at the Royal National Theatre in November.

First performed in 1988 at the ICA in London, Spitfire presents an hilarous take on male narcisism in a series of short solos and duets.  Influenced by the worlds of advertising, modelling and ballet, Spitfire continues to delight contemporary audiences and "has proved to be a signature piece for the company" (Matthew Bourne).
