April 28th
:   Travis Fimmel move over.  We prefer the way our guy looks in a tight, white t-shirt. These caps are from a programme taped back in 1997 during rehearsals for Cinderella.  I will try to pull some more off for you, however, the quality won't be great due to repeated copying and conversion.  But that hardly matters to us does it?  It's Will and better yet, it's Will in rehearsal. And best of all, it's Will in rehearsal in a tight, white t-shirt!!

Rapunzel, Rapunzel. Have a look at Hugh's Van Helsing locks in a pic taken last week during the London premiere of X2.  Also, I finally got a copy of the May issue of Empire Magazine, so have a read on their take of the monster of all movies for 2004.

Wolf WhistleWorthy. (Try saying that fast three times!!) That promo and more in my latest update on Mr. Cooper's page.

As mentioned last Friday, I have some
photos recently sent to me by Meg and Non who have started a Will fansite in Japan.  I've got the first ones up for your viewing pleasure.  Thanks again ladies.

And speaking of thank you  - a very big one, as well as hugs and kisses, are in order for my friend,
Mandy, a huge Adam Cooper fan, who sent along the items for Adam's page and the tapes from which these new caps have been made.  Mandy, drinks are on the house for you when I get to London later this year.  Grazie!!

April 25th:   Where the heck have I been all week? Right here, that's where. 'Rumblings from the AICN lab' just happens to be the only tidbit to have come up this week on the Van Helsing front.  Hang in there gang.

I do have a new set of captures from Swan Lake with everyone's favorite party crasher, the cool and calculating
'Black Swan', making  mincemeat of the babes, playing a little tally-ho with the Queen, and head games with the Prince.  What is it about leather pants???

A few days ago I received an email from two really delightful ladies, Meg and Non, who are from Japan and have just started a Will Kemp fansite.  I would like to welcome them to the wonderful world of webmastering, which can be daunting at times, but also a good deal of fun;  especially when you get to meet others who have a like-minded appreciation for the multi-faceted talents of one, Mr. Will Kemp. It's nice to have more 'partners in crime' in supporting him now before his face hits the big screen next year, as no doubt, there will be any number of fansites break out then.  We have swapped some photos and will be checking in with each other as time goes on.  As luck would have it, I am having slight server problems right at this moment, so I won't be putting these photos up on my site until later today, or by Monday latest.  There are some new ones of Will and some great stuff on Matthew Bourne, as well.  But you can find them on
Meg and Non's site right now.  Of course, some of us need to learn how to read Japanese to find out what the articles say! Nonetheless, a very warm welcome to Meg and Non.

April 18th
:  "Wolverine vs Wolf Man" - now that would be an interesting match up. MTV takes their turn at trying to get Mister  Jackman to spill the beans on what to expect from the monster heavy Van Helsing.  Read their text interview or click on the audio/video link to see Handsome Hugh Hype Helsing.  A little double alliteration action for you there.

"I know it was you, Fredo. You broke my heart
".  Michael Corleone to brother Fredo in Godfather II  before he grabs Fredo's face and plants that kiss on him. Love. Betrayal. Death.  Well, I've got the same action for you in the latest Car Man screen caps. This brings to a (rather bloody) end this particular batch of grabs.  But not to worry, there will be more to come when we jump back to happier times, hot and heavy times as well, next go round.

Barring any last minute news that pops up requiring another update, I bid you a good weekend
.

April 17th
:   Check out Week Five of Adam Cooper's Diary. He discusses his 'cute butt' amongst other things.  Sorry Adam, you left yourself open for that one.  But you know we love ya, funny guy!

April 16th:  "I feel like I'm in an Indiana Jones kind of movie.  It feels..it's that big.  It's huge!" So says Hugh Jackman on Van Helsing in a recent interview with comingsoon.net. "It's going to look unbelievable.  The monsters are amazing and the fight scenes are out of this world,"  he adds.  Wanna hear more? Just take a listen in on this excellent audio clip of Jackman who sounds positively stoked about the film.

More caps from
The Car Man as Angelo (Will) confronts the murderous couple, Lana (Saranne Curtin) and Luca (Alan Vincent).

And, I will be spending the next couple nights with Adam Cooper!  Well, not literally....  What I meant is that I am working on the next
Swan Lake storyboard section which features Adam as the Black Swan/Stranger romancing the night away with both the ladies and The Prince.  Hey!  Would you turn down a gorgeous man in leather pants who beckons you with a riding-crop?

April 14th:  SECOND UPDATE: Garth over at Dark Horizons has some pretty cool artwork from Van Helsing which includes Frankenstein's and Dracula's castles. (see photo 1, photo 2, photo 3, photo 4). He also nudges us over to Fangoria who were able to trackdown the vampire hunter himself for a little feast of Helsing bites and tidbits; just enough to tantalize and torment you all at once.  It just keeps getting better.

April 14th
: Dirty Dancing Redux. More grabs from The Car Man.

To those dance lovers living in the U.K. - fair warning -
The Paul Taylor Dance Company is headed your way.  My suggestion -  get your tickets now!! Promethean Fire matches up the brilliant choreography of Paul Taylor, the haunting music of Johann Sebastian Bach [Toccata & Fugue in D minor to start  - yes that's right - the scarey piece from 'Fantasia'] and a tremendous dance ensemble, to give the audience a definite stand-out theatre experience.  I saw it yesterday at the Kennedy Center and my head is still wrapped around it. Written after 9/11, it is a magnificent piece that takes you from apocalyptic despair to the blessed hope of redemption.  Gripping  doesn't begin to describe the experience. Before blowing the audience away with 'Fire', PTDC started off with a piece, the Offenbach Overtures, which included a quite funny mockery of dancing/dancers and a number where two soldiers set to serious dueling end up in an over-the-top can't take my hands, eyes or lips off you relationship instead of a fight to the death.  Also performing were the Houston Ballet in two pieces, one (Company B) set to music sung by The Andrews Sisters with lots of WWII nostalgia (kind of eerie to watch with the current war going on, I thought)  and a piece called 'In the Beginning',  a take on the book of Genesis which was amusing at times, but lacked the spark that Taylor's Offenbach delivered.  Don't shoot me, but I would trade all three of those pieces in just to see Promethean Fire again - it was that stunning and that unforgettable. Judging by the thunderous applause in The Eisenhower Theatre after its conclusion, I might not have been alone in that thought.  Count yourselves lucky if you get to see it as well.

April 10th:  SECOND UPDATE:  Scoot on over to Roy Tan's Will Kemp site for a new message from Will. Thanks to Will and to Roy....this is just what we needed!  Big smile!  P.S. Thanks to Kiyo, Will Kemp fan in Japan, for the catch.

April 10th
:   Dirty Dancing Bourne style.   Start with a leather jacket, t-shirt and tight blue jeans.  Add some very steamy choreography and a sizzling score plus a dancer who redefines dangerously sensual with the slightest gesture, move or look.  More screen caps from Act 2 of The Car Man with the anguished and tortured Angelo busting out of jail and back for revenge  and his girlfriend Rita caught in the crossfire of his torment.

Heads up in LA!! Variety reports that Van Helsing has wrapped production in Prague and is now headed to Los Angeles to complete filming.

April 8th: It's back to the business of willkemp.org  now that my working vacation is officially over.  I did scour the net in search of any news over the past week,  but nothing was forthcoming.  I can, however, offer up some more stills from the achingly beautiful, incredibly emotional, Act 2, 'Murderer' Scene from The Car Man.  Hopefully these, and the next couple of batches to come this week, will fill the news void we seem to have hit.  Of course, my other favorite pastime during these slow periods is to introduce you to some of Will's  friends and contemporaries and better acquaint you with Will's first love -  dance.  You want to know the man, you have to know what he loves.  So, today, I would like to introduce (to some of you for the first time, others are quite aware of them) the fabulous George Piper Dances group. This particular article appears in the April issue of  ballet.magazine and will give you a quick peek at one of the two very cool dancer dudes, Billy Trevitt who, along with partner Michael Nunn, started GPD. There are further links from the article if your curiosity about the 'Ballet Boyz' has been aroused and how could it not be???  I'll be coming back to GPD again, especially since Matthew Hart, along with the beautiful Oxana Panchenko, are part and parcel of the group .  They've got lots of UK dates set up already for 2003 and rumor has it they will be coming to the United States later this year, so I will keep you posted on that as well.  And while you read up on this ultra cool dance group, I will buckle down and go in search of news on our very own ultra cool dancer, Mr. Kemp.

April 4th:  Desperately seeking Will. Well, news on Will, that is.  So, while our lad remains secreted away filming Van Helsing,  we happily offer you the latest from the fabulous Mr. Adam Cooper.  He recently posted Week Four of his amazing journey and is now wrapping up his tour of duty with Swan Lake in Japan. We'd like him to know that he has positively spoilt us with his musings and we hope he continues to do so once he arrives back home - even if it's just to fill us in on his DIY duties!!  We aren't picky.  We just love hearing from him.  We would also like to thank him for the stunner he gave us at the end of this latest diary entry.  We are truly honored by his mention of our site and by his kind comments.  The pleasure of  including an Adam Cooper page on this site has, and will continue to be, all ours. Thanks Adam and welcome home.  And a lovely weekend to all!
