| November 18th: Second Update!! A whole lotta Will. Those holiday TV adverts are up on the GAP website. Click on the SJP thumbnails to see spots two and three as well. Be sure to click on the Print Ads and Gift Guide tabs too because Will is everywhere you look. And that really is the way we like it! November 18th: A little bit of Will. Mini pics from the December issues of Vogue and Lucky. November 16th: A sneak peek of the interview which will appear in the Ballet.co Magazine shortly. November 15th: That's the way I like it. Get ready for an early Christmas present. Between November 18th and December 22nd, those GAP TV adverts will hit the air. Here are some excerpts from the press release sent out this past Friday: The holiday campaign features three 30-second spots that follow Sarah Jessica Parker celebrating with friends at fabulous holiday parties... Parker teams up with Las Vegas heartthrob Josh Duhamel and acclaimed musician Mary J. Blige in the first spot entitled “Warmth.” Set to Blige’s original remake of the classic hit “Best of My Love”... In the second spot called “Shine,” Parker welcomes friends including British actor Will Kemp, singer J.C. Chasez and models Frankie Rayder and Joy Bryant to an elegant penthouse apartment party. Set to J.C. Chasez’s rendition of the original Earth, Wind and Fire song “Shining Star”... Parker and Kemp dance to an original remix of “That’s the Way I Like It” by up-and- coming artists Kelis and Van Hunt in the final spot entitled “Color”... For the entire press release, click here. They've also added one more photo of Mr. Kemp looking mighty snazzy in his GAP gear. November 9th: How do you share it? That's the new GAP winter campaign slogan. Here are two photos from the December issue of Vanity Fair. November 2nd: That GAP Guy. So remember a couple years ago when most people did not know who Will Kemp was and then he provocatively danced his way across everyone's televisions causing a mad stampede to computers where the same plaintive cry was found throughout websites, chat rooms and live journals - "Who is that GAP guy?" Or actually it was more like "Omigod who is that gorgeous or hot or sexy or (well there were endless adjectives flung about). In any case, 'that GAP guy' is back. This week GAP started its winter campaign with the first promo shots displayed inside its stores and on its website. The GAP store near me featured four shots with Will - none of them solo and none of them with SJP. But all of them, needless to say, wonderful. One of Will's photos does feature GAP's 2003 hot guy, Italian actor Raoul Bova (remember the 'clad in nothing but jeans' guy throwing himself into that unmade bed?) Sorry to say, I don't know who the third adorable guy is in this photo but I'm sure we will all find out soon. Also, best to start watching out for the GAP holiday catalogue which will come with a future Sunday newspaper. Don't know when, so keep a vigilent look out. Many thanks to Mariela for the heads-up and the photo. Excellent job. And just in case you hadn't heard it already, during its first week in US release between October 19th and October 24th, Van Helsing took home first place in video sales with more than 4 million combined DVD and VHS units sold, for an estimated gross of about $65 million. It came in second in home rentals with $9.1 million. And speaking of the DVD, isn't the Ultimate Edition just that? Some nice surprises throughout and definitely some good chuckles during the Feature Commentary. It was like having Will, Richard and Shuler sitting in your living room watching the movie with you. Well, okay, it wasn't quite like that...... |
