October 20th: Party Animals. Friends of New Adventures celebrated its 10th anniversary in big style last week with a huge turn-out including a ton of former and current company dancers.......and you better believe Will was one of them. You can check it out over at matthewbourne.org. And yes, as you go through the photos and wonder about the names, Barry Kemp is Will's dad and June Bourne is Matthew's mom. And Mandy Kent is my dear friend who has contributed so often to this site. And aren't we all pea green with envy that she gets to party with Will!?! October 19th: The Wolf Man Cometh. And no doubt he will cometh home with a whole lot of you as the Van Helsing DVD hits U.S. stores today. WooHoo!! Friends, beer, pizza, Van Helsing and fighting over the remote for those favorite scenes.........priceless! I'm sure he reads Playboy for the articles. This great photo and write-up are from Saturday's (London) Times Magazine. Thanks to Michael for the heads-up and to Karen and Mandy for the great scans. October 4th: The Soldier's Tale revisited. I have another review for this masterpiece from the August issue of Dance Now magazine. There are two photos - a nice one of Will and a real grabber featuring Matthew Hart and Adam Cooper. This is one of the best photos of Matthew as the Devil that I've seen. More Soldier's Tale photos come to us courtesy of VanHelsingFan.com as well as screenshots from the film. Three cheers to Janine once again. New Adventures has added initial tour dates for Highland Fling. September 27th: Early Howl-o-ween. The Van Helsing DVD has already been released in a few countries including Germany and Australia. It will be released 11 October in the UK and 19 October in the US. In the meantime, VanHelsingFan.com has added some of the first screen captures from the DVD extras section - Bloopers, Making of the Monsters, You are in the Movie, and The Legend of Van Helsing - to its gallery, affording us the chance to get an early look-see. Hats off to Janine who is the webmistress of 'all things Van Helsing'. Great job and great site! September 24th: Spring Fling. We've got our first tease for Matthew Bourne and New Adventures revival of 'Highland Fling' which is penciled in for a premiere spring of 2005. Whilst much is still up in the air regarding tour dates and casting (including Will), just seeing this great promo photo of James and The Sylph has got to get you going. Check out the news page and keep your fingers crossed that next spring it will be Will in a kilt! September 22nd: Fall into the GAP. So....how about Sarah Jessica Parker and Will together in a new GAP advert.....? Sarah Jessica spills the beans whilst clutching her new Emmy award....and oh, yes, she just 'loves' Will! Well, of course she does. Thanks to my pal Nic. September 20th: Just - WOW - part two. More press conference photos come to us from CS-TV.net including these shots. If you haven't visited vanhelsingfan.com lately, better take a peek then. They've added quite a bit to their various galleries including a number of screen shots from one of Will's interviews. ***** September 12th: Happy Birthday WillKemp.Org. Officially two years old this week. My thanks to all who have supported this site with photos, news, encouragement and kind words. And of course many, many thanks to Will. A few more photos from Japan to share with you. Special thanks to Meg & Non, Mitori, Ginko, and 't' who have kept us all in the loop during Will's trip. ***** September 7th: Will talks to Cinema Voice. Plus more photos, including some rather interesting ones from the Japanese edition of Premiere magazine. Thanks again Meg, Non, and Mitori. September 2nd: Pretty pictures. As promised, more photos from various Japanese magazines, with more to follow next week. These are all courtesy of Meg and Non who've been keeping quite busy with all the media attention Will is receiving in Japan. Many, many thanks to them for sharing these gems with us. Premiere photos up at WireImage.com. Cha-ching! Got some box office numbers for you. Van Helsing has now grossed 265 million worldwide (120 million in the US). Mindhunters, which is in a five country limited European release right now, has grossed about 4.3 million. |
