February 26th:  It's a done deal.  All those i's are dotted and  t's crossed. Will is confirmed for "The Soldier's Tale". How happy does this make a whole lot of people?  Each one of the dancers in this production is a star and worth seeing on their own. But the four together (Will, Matthew Hart, Adam Cooper, and Zenaida Yanowsky) are truly a dream team. Summer won't come soon enough.

Does Wolf Man have a lair? You might find out by reading the latest
Horror.com interview with Van Helsing's production designer, Allen Cameron.

Silvia Colloca "makes friends with Will Kemp and his lovely wife."  Plus Sylvia is not only Dracula's bride in the movie, she's getting set to be Dracula's bride in real life as well. Please note there are four parts to her interview.

My thanks to Heather for help on this update.

February 23rd:  Supermodel.
The March issue of Interview magazine is out with two stunning photos of Will along with a way too short, but still sweet, interview.

February 19th:  "Mindhunters" - Round Five.
A new release date has been set for the thriller - June 4th.  That would June 4th, 2004. Hah! Well, you never know. In a call to Miramax - trying to disguise my voice from the dozen times I've called in previously - I was told that they were still  revamping the marketing of the movie, getting approvals for publicity stills and confirming the availability of 'the talent' for interviews and appearances. At least that is what they told me.  In any case, it's probably a good release date for both Miramax and Will because he will get some great buzz from "Van Helsing" and that will help promote him and "Mindhunters".

Hissing and clawing, dissing the werewolf, bats whose clocks are ticking. Check out the next
"Van Helsing" interview over at Horror.com.  Two of Dracula's lovely brides, Silvia Colloca and Elena Anaya, give us the skinny on vamping it up.

Another spinoff from
"Van Helsing" will be a comic book series inspired by the movie.  'Brutal mutilations, bizarre experiments and horrifying creatures that live in the shadow of the sewer system' - is that all in the movie?   Well, it is what the famous vampire slayer will face between the pages of this comic book.  Check out
Dark Horse Comics for a bit more on what's planned.

My thanks to Heather for help with today's update.

February 17th:  Hedging your bets.
Tickets went on sale yesterday for the June 15th-19th run of "The Soldier's Tale"I have learned that although Will is slated to be in the production, it is not confirmed as of yet that he is a definite; i.e. contracts signed etc.  Nothing should be inferred from this one way or the other. But of course, all fingers are crossed that he will be.

Full Frontal Nudity, Wolf Man is a snitch, Jackman  terrifies village people, and a castle full of Dwergie!  Huh?  Horror.com sat down with eleven of the Van Helsing cast members for interviews.  The first two are up - Hugh Jackman and Stephen Sommers. Very entertaining and some good Wolf Man spoilers.

Be watching for the March issue of
Film Review which should be hitting the newsstands soon. This is a link to the preview article but hopefully there will be much more in the print edition which, of course, I will post when I've got it myself.

More toys.
Sideshow Collectibles has revealed more of their Van Helsing line which can be pre-ordered now.  They do not show a Velkan or Wolf Man yet, but as they have everyone else represented, something will surely follow.

In regards to Van Helsing items, the
Collectibles Section of this site has been updated to include a list of what's currently out there for purchase and where and how to purchase it.  The Jakks toys can be purchased through Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk or at Toys R Us.  And in fact,I have been told by one of our site visitors that he has seen some of these items on the shelves at Toys R Us already.

If you would like to purchase through Amazon, I hope you will consider going through
Jackman's Landing to do so. They are an affiliate of Amazon and have a special link which allows for a percentage of each purchase be put aside for charity.  It cost you nothing extra and your transaction is no different than if you signed onto the Amazon site in regular fashion. For more information click on the Collectibles link above. And bravo to the ladies at JL as they do a lot in the way of providing to charities. They are indeed a class act.

I have finished loading the remainder of the Super Bowl Trailer and Featurette stills into the
Van Helsing Photo Gallery.  In many cases, new shots are beneath thumbnail images you've already seen.  So you will have to go back and uncover the additional stills that way.

Also, yay, finally.
The Car Man Screen Shot Photo Gallery is back open for business.  I have not loaded all the shots yet, but should have it done in the next month.  Hopefully the new layout will be easier to navigate.  There are no new stills but new screen shots from The Car Man are going to be made in the next months and put up over on Matthew Bourne's Car Man page.

I would very much like to thank Pat, Charles, Heather and my ever-lovin' pal Nic, for their help with today's update.

February 13th:  Not unlucky.
Lights Out Entertainment has a high resolution image of that Universal photo of Will as Velkan which should fill up your computer screen magnificently. Great weekend all.

February 12th:  All Star Team.
It looks like Will may be headed back to the Linbury Studio Theatre this summer to work with William Tuckett on a new production, "The Soldiers Tale". Will worked with Tuckett on "Wind in the Willows" this past Christmas.  Matthew Hart, who played Toad in WITW, will also be in this production. Could it get any better than that?  Well, yes.  How about adding Adam Cooper and Zenaida Yanowsky and award winning designer, Lez Brotherston?
Check out the early press release posted over at
ballet.co.  I'm already black and blue from pinching myself over this announcement.  It is the stuff of which dreams are made....

If you missed
Access Hollywood last night, don't fret too much. No Will, no Velkan. There was an interview with Hugh Jackman which was done back when Van Helsing was filming in Prague and appears to be part of  the segment which first aired a few weeks ago with previews of the trailer. The background material shown was mostly what we have all seen before. Jackman mainly talked about the weapons and the set.

February 11th:  Access Hollywood
may have some news on  Van Helsing tonight. Check your local listings. Thanks Carol.

February 9th:  SECOND UPDATE.
The Vanity Fair photo.
Nic to the rescue!  As always, you rock!

February 9th:  It's an APB - All Points Bulletin.
The March issue of Vanity Fair has already hit some newsstands. It should be out everywhere by end of this week. The photo features some of the brightest, hottest newcomers to Hollywood;
Will being the brightest and hottest. Little editorial license taken there.
Thanks Dina.

Whilst we wait, one more small pic of Will from that
LIT party.
Thanks Olivia.

February 5th:   Back in the U.S.A.   WireImage
caught up with Will at the
"Lost in Translation" DVD launch party at the Koi Restaurant in Los Angeles this past Tuesday. He is sporting a wicked new haircut. Click WireImage and then type in Will Kemp in the search box.  In order to see larger versions of these photos, you will have to subscribe for at least one month's gazing privileges. That will cost you $10.00. Is it worth it?  Uh, yeh. If you want to see those green eyes it is.
Thanks Alan.

February 2nd:  Well, hello
Velkan! At long last the first photos of our gypsy prince. These were taken from the just relaunched official website. Check out
'A Look Inside' for a video clip that includes behind the scenes footage. The site will apparently undergo periodic updates with more goodies to be added.
Thank you Universal.

Super Bowl? How about
super new trailer? If you missed the spot on television or forgot to tape it, not to fear. You will not miss out on the enhanced trailer which appeared early during the first quarter of the game. It was the first of many movie trailers shown and it was, of course, also the best. Much of the  trailer remains the same but there is a substantial increase in Wolf Man time.

Screen shots from both the 'Look Inside' and Super Bowl spot will be loaded shortly. I'll let you know when they are all up.

"Will Kemp is the next Orlando Bloom....and he's going to be huge." So say the folks at Empire Magazine. Of course, some of us made the 'going to be huge' call years ago......not that we're bragging!

"Wolf Man is like an alcoholic or schizophrenic." Yet another Sommers quote that just makes you all the more curious and excited to see how Will plays Velkan, a man with a 'serious problem'. Check out this great article in The Australian that talks up the Van Helsing cast.

Pumped Up!  Will's action figure, Velkan/Wolf Man, was on display this weekend at the UK Toy Fair. And it was not a good day at the office for Velkan by the looks of what's left of his clothing. Take a look: Photo one, photo two, and photo three. Most of the Van Helsing figures can be seen by clicking here.

A huge thank you to -  Fiona, Joanna, Heather, Lauren, Roy and Nic.
