| This is your chance to become a member of a very special, close-knit group of 'friends' that includes your favorite dancer and mine, Will Kemp. If you've been a faithful reader of willkemp.org, you know all about Matthew Bourne. You also know that from 'Adventures in Motion Pictures' to Matthew's new company, 'New Adventures', Will has been and continues to be, an intregal part of the groundbreaking and brilliant work that Bourne and his company of dancers and crew consistently turn out. Even if you have not yet had a chance to see a production in person, you've no doubt seen 'Swan Lake' and 'The Car Man' on video/dvd and therefore know what I am talking about. Membership in 'Friends' offers the opportunity of being, if even in just a small way, a part of the fascinating and exciting world of theatre and dance and even contributing to its continued well-being. And, if it's just Will you want to know about, well, he's in the 'Friends' newsletter, 'newfriends', plenty - complete with exclusive photos you will not see anywhere else, including this website, and I am talking everything from rehearsal shots to candid photos, as well as news items on Will's comings and goings. The newsletter comes out quarterly. It is chocked full of great items about current productions, cast members, special 'friends' events, auctions of production items, interviews, lots of photos and well, everything you could ask for in a newsletter. The cost is nominal. You can either write or phone for subscription information - though I recommend phoning as then you can chat with the membership secretary, June Bourne, (yes, as in Matthew's mum - one of the most delightful ladies I've ever come across. And it's okay if you ooh and ahh about Matthew to her - she doesn't seem to mind a bit and in fact, may even share a few tidbits about him herself). 'newfriends' is a great way to keep up with Will beyond what we can provide here at willkemp.org and certainly, that's reason enough to become a member.
