I have seen Sarah Wildor dance a number of times before and I think anyone who has seen her will agree that she is a beautiful dancer. Her
performance in Adam's Liaisons Dangereuses, however, surpasses any experience that I have had of a live performance anywhere and if you ever get
the chance to see her in this role you really must go.
Her dancing is as magical as ever, graceful and elegant beyond words. She portays her character with such a fine degree of passion and soul that it moved everyone to tears. Yes, including me.
She has captured a purity and passion that tears at your very soul and portayed for me how magnificent she is as an actor as well as a dancer. Dancing with Adam lends that indefinable facet to the performance that can only arise from such an intimate connection, but that merely heightens the power and subtlety of her grace and beauty.
Words are difficult to find to portray her effect on me. She has reached in this role a perfection of spirit moving from frail purity to passion and despair in short minutes on stage that I defy any to resist.
She touches my soul as only one other woman ever has or ever will.
