Matthew Hart
I had heard and read about Matthew Hart long before I ever saw him dance.  Critics and friends alike constantly raved about him. When he came to Washington DC in 2003, along with (then) Adam Cooper and Company to perform MacMillan’s ‘Sea of Troubles’ in the International Dance Festival, I was eager to see what all the hoopla was about.

By the end of the performance I was counting myself one of his biggest fans. I have never seen anyone use their body and face in such a unique and amazingly expressive manner. To this day, watching him perform, I remain completely enthralled. He is   brilliantly original and a stand-out in every production.

Matthew's induction into the 'Dancer's Who Make Us Swoon' gallery is long over due. He is such a phenominal artist that anything short of creating a website for him, just wouldn't do.
