These prestiges AACTA Awards are the Australian version of Hollywood’s Oscars and this intimate awards lunch was attended by Robert De Niro (AACTA Best Supporting Actor Winner), Quentin Tarantino (AACTA Best Screenplay Winner), David O’Russell (AACTA Best Director Winner), Tom Hooper (AACTA Best Director Nominee), producer Harvey Weinstein and hosted by Russell Crowe - quite the room to be in! Will looked on great form and our guess is that he was there to show support for Hugh Jackman (AACTA Best Actor in Film Nominee for Les Miserables) and Richard Roxburgh (AACTA Best Actor in a TV Drama Series Winner for RAKE, written and directed by AACTA Nominee, Peter Duncan, who was also in attendance). Will worked with both Jackman & Roxburgh on the film Van Helsing.
